PRIDE in Public Education is a campaign that shares the successes of New Jersey’s public schools while building community support and involvement. PRIDE programs cover a variety of topics and areas, including combatting privatization, passing school budgets, addressing drug and alcohol issues in the community, and helping to keep teen drivers safe.
PRIDE is proud to support the NJEA FAST, or Families and Schools Together work for children, program. The goal of FAST is to involve parents and families in their children’s education through programs and events to help improve student achievement and ensure that families feel welcome and connected to our schools.
The NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education makes it possible for public school employees to receive grants that will help them bring creative ideas to life.
The only foundation of its kind in New Jersey, the Hipp Foundation supports initiatives to promote excellence in education.
